Alhassan Suhuyini, Issac Adongo retained Eric Osei Owusu kicked out

Financial analyst and Member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Isaac Adongo, was given the nod by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) delegates in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency to represent them as a candidate in the 2020 General Election.

At the end of polls on Saturday, August 24, 2019, Mr. Adongo polled a total of 843 votes out of a total of 1073 votes cast while George Gamson polled 229 votes.

Alhassan Suhuyini also got the confirmation from delegates in his constituency, Tamale North to be representative for 2020 Parliamentary and Presidential.
Alhassan Suhuyini secured 446 votes while his opponent Kesse Ibrahim Musah polled 164 votes.

Eric Osei Owusu, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Afram Plains South Constituency in the Eastern Region however, lost his reelection bid in the NDC Primaries in his constituency.
Former MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng however, got the opportunity to battle it out with the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) candidate for a spot in the 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic. The former legislator won the race with 352 votes while Mr. Osei Owusu garnered 260 votes.
