Veronica Commey, a convener of the #SaveGhanaFootball demonstration has announced they are all set to hit the streets on Wednesday, February 14.

2024 Valentine’s Day will be historical as football lovers demonstrate against what they tern rot crippling the sport.

According to Veronica Commey who spoke to Happy Sports in an interview, they will deliver four petitions on Wednesday before they end the demonstration at the Black Stars square.

She said “we will deliver the petitions to the GFA, Sports Ministry, Parliament House and the Presidency. The Presidency has already chosen the person who will receive our petition and the person will meet us at Black Stars Square.”

“The starting point will be at the Obra Spot at circle at 7am. So just head straight to circle with your black attire after brushing and taking your bath. Water and drinks will be catered for to make sure that you are okay”.

She added that anybody who has been sent to disrupt the demonstration will be dealt with by the police because they are just marching peacefully for reforms.

“We have also heard that some people will be sent to disrupt the demonstration but I’m telling them that the police will be waiting for them and will handle anyone who comes to misbehave.”
