The agent for Kjetil Zachariassen, Charles Kouadio says his client will go to CAF and FIFA to demand their compensation from Asante Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors terminated the contract of the Danish trainer who failed to qualify the team to both the CAF Champions League and Confederation group stage.

Kotoko terminated the appointment of Zacharrisen on Wednesday November 13,2019 citing reason he failed to reach his set targets as stipulated in his contract.

According to his agent, Kotoko must pay a compensation of $12,000 part ways with the coach, but management of the team pleaded to give him $5,000 which they rejected.

“These are the same people who called us for a meeting begging $5,000 as compensation and today they write a letter to contradict themselves by saying they won’t pay any amount”, he said on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM.

“Cooker who chaired the meeting said he will pay $5,000 instead of the $10,000 we wanted, but later published a termination of contract online before sending a notice to us”, he added.

He also mentioned that they will go to FIFA or CAF to seek redress on the matter as well as demand their compensation.

“We will go to the appropriate quarters to seek redress over this matter. We will go to CAF and FIFA to demand our compensation of $12,000. They haven’t even paid his salary for October”
“They disrespected us in the first place because as I speak, we are yet to receive a hard copy of the letter; it shows they are up to something. Our next point of action is to take Kotoko to CAF”, he added.
