Ashanti Gold have confirmed the signing of Eleven Wonders right back Kwadwo Amoako on a four-year deal.

The player completed his move after the two clubs agreed on an undisclosed fee.

Amoako completed his medical last week in Obuasi before penning a year four-year deal.

Kwadwo Amoako was initially linked with a move to Asante Kotoko but AshantiGold were able to hijack the deal at the last hour.

The former Nea Salamina defender was one of the best players in the just ended tier one league.

AshantiGold confirmed the signing on their official twitter account on Tuesday.

“We have secured the services of @Txiwonders defender Kwadwo Amoako for the next 4 (four) Years.”

Kwadwo Amoako is expected to compete with Emmanuel Nti Mensah for the right-back spot.
