“Whatever the occasion – whenever people come together – you will find ATL bringing fabrics to life!” is a popular slogan of the premier textile company, Akosombo Textiles Limited (ATL).

However, this is more of a promise than a slogan of the leading textile company, whose goal is to ensure that Ghanaians can celebrate whatever occasion with fashionable yet quality fabrics.

Marketing Manager of the company, Samuel Hemens Ardey, expresses that the most anticipated event of February, the Happy FM Mass Wedding, gives them (ATL) the opportunity to affirm the aforementioned promise.

As a sponsor of the 15th edition of the Happy FM Mass Wedding, ATL explains why it has come on board to make this event a success.

Samuel Hemens Ardey speaking to Samuel Eshun on the Happy Morning Show shared: “Weddings and engagements are events where cloths are used the most. So ATL saw this as the right opportunity to meet that promise to our customers for them to know that our cloths can be used for weddings and engagements and church, among others.

For this day, February 14th, we have deliberately made new collections for the couples of the Happy FM Mass Wedding. The event will be their runway, as they will be the first to launch the new collection cloth for the market. You will not see that type of cloth in the market. The cloths are distinct. So couples will be in ATL fabrics during the event. We are going fully made in Ghana. We are promoting Ghana for everyone to see our culture”.

He furthered that there will be an exhibition at the event for family and friends who will be gathered to have the opportunity to purchase beautiful fabrics for their loved ones as a sign of their love for them.

Commenting on why Ghanaians can trust the ATL brand, the Marketing Manager, spoke at length on features of the brand that makes them distinct from their competitors.

“The quality of the fabric is very high. ATL is the only company that is vertically integrated company. We buy cotton from the North, spin, weave and dye the cotton before printing, while others import theirs. But we boost the work of cotton farmers in Ghana and cotton producers. We buy from them and process the cotton. We have a design team that always researches ongoing trends, bringing out new designs with data gathered. We look at the new colours, different designs and beautiful fabrics.

Also, we have what we call the retro collection which is a combination of the old and modern collection of fabrics. Our colours are very unique and our wax colours cannot be found in any other textile company”, Mr. Ardey shared.

Persons who are interested in purchasing fabrics from ATL can visit www.atlfabrics.com or call the numbers 0244334406; 0244328661. Customers and potential customers can also walk in to the ATL shop located at Adabraka, 40 Kwame Nkrumah Avenue.
