In a groundbreaking move for women’s football in Africa, Bayor, an Extended Play (EP) album is set to be launched on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Decathlon Ghana store in Kawukudi.

This event promises to bring together key stakeholders in the football industry to explore the EP’s themes of equity, mental health, and the broader goals of advancing women’s football in the country.

Notable figures such as Anthony Baffoe, Rosalind Amoh, Juliet Bawauah, Veronica Commey, John Dumelo, Yussif Chibsah, and Gary Al-Smith are expected to participate in this momentous launch.

The event will be open to all media houses, providing a platform for in-depth discussions on the significance of the project.

Under the theme “Equity and Beyond”, it aims to shed light on the challenges and triumphs of female footballers in Ghana, amplifying their voices and advocating for gender equality within the sport.

Through this EP, collaborators seek to spark conversations, raise awareness about mental health issues, and drive positive change in the landscape of women’s football.

Attendees can look forward to engaging panel discussions, live performances, and interactions with the artists and industry leaders involved in the project.

Following the launch, the EP will be available to the public, offering a glimpse into the experiences and aspirations of women in football.

This initiative marks a significant step towards promoting inclusivity, empowerment, and progress for female athletes in Ghana. The EP is poised to inspire a new era of support and recognition for women’s football, paving the way for a brighter future in the realm of sports.
