Bernard Oduro Takyi to speak at the 6th Commonwealth Africa Summit in London

Presiding Member for Sunyani West District Assembly and CEO of Omanbapa Group of Companies; Mr. Bernard Oduro Takyi has beenselected to participate in the 6th Annual Commonwealth Africa Summit 2019 (CAS 2019) taking place from the 11th to 13th March 2019 in London, UK. Mr. Oduro Takyi would also speak on the topic “Investing in Our Common Future Today” at the youth forum of the summit. A renowned speaker and youth development activist, Bernard has shared platforms with many global leaders in business, politics and governance.

The 3-day event is scheduled to host other international experts in various industries and facets of national and international development including Ludger Schuknecht (Deputy Secretary General, OECD), Cherie Blaire (Chairman, Omnia Strategy) and Wife of former Prime Minister), H.E. Saida Muna Tasneem (Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK), Chad Blackman (Barbados’ Ambassador & Permanent Representative to the UN and WTO at Geneva) and Hon. Giwa Olushola (Member of Lagos State House of Assembly).  Also on the panels are Dr. Ejike Bob Udeogu (Centre for the Study of States, University of London), Dr. Funmi Adewara (Founder/CEO of Mobihealth International UK), Dr. Susi Dattenberg-Doyle (CEO- Right for Education) and many others.

The Annual Commonwealth Africa Summit is a gathering of all Commonwealth member states with focus on Africa. It is being organized by the Commonwealth Africa Initiative which is a Pan African organization with mandate to promote the interest of the African block of the Commonwealth of Nations and foster opportunities for Commonwealth citizens from Africa.
