Ghanaian forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has signed a two-year deal with Nottingham Forest Women, marking a significant milestone in her career after an impressive stint with London City Lionesses.

A standout performer at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Boye-Hlorkah makes the move from the newly crowned WSL2 champions during the summer transfer window, eager to test herself in England’s top division.

Forest announced her arrival by celebrating her key role in London City Lionesses’ promotion campaign, where she scored six crucial goals — including a decisive header on the final day to seal the title against Birmingham City. The club expressed confidence that her scoring ability and top-level experience would strengthen their attacking options as they look to maintain momentum.

Speaking after putting pen to paper, Boye-Hlorkah shared her excitement about joining a team on the rise.

“I’m excited to join the club and play with this group of players. The team had an incredible season last year — history is being made here — and I’m grateful to be part of building something special,” she said.

Head coach Carly Davies, who has previously worked with the Ghanaian striker, praised her quality and adaptability, noting her past spells at Everton and Aston Villa.

“Having worked with Chaney before, I know the quality, experience, and versatility she brings. Her ability to influence games, with and without the ball, will be a huge asset as we push for more success,” head coach Davies commented.
