In the ongoing qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, the Black Queens of Ghana put on a stellar performance, defeating their opponents from Benin with a score of 3-0.

The national teams of Ghana and Benin clashed in the first leg of the second round of qualifiers at the Stade de l’Amitié – Général Mathieu Kerekou. Throughout the 90 minutes, the Black Queens of Ghana maintained their dominance on the field.

At halftime, Ghana held a narrow lead with a solitary goal. Doris Boaduwaa, who plays for ŽFK Spartak Subotica in Serbia, converted a penalty kick awarded to Ghana.

In the second half, Benin attempted to make a comeback, but their efforts lacked the necessary quality. Gifty Assifuah came to the forefront with a splendid performance, scoring two goals in the 73rd and 78th minutes, leading Ghana to a well-deserved 3-0 victory.
