Ghana forward Boakye Yiadom came off the bench inspire Jiansun Suning to a 2-1 victory over Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center on Sunday morning.
Jiansun Suning, who this week appointed Romanian coach Coach Cosmin Olâroiu after Fabio Capello’s shocking departure, dominated the game in the first half but failed to find the initiative.
However, with the introduction of Ghanaian poacher Boakye Yiadom in place of Zhang Lingfeng in the 57th minute, Jiansung Suning started pressing their opponents.
With 15 minutes to end the match, the host were awarded a penalty, which Boakye Yiadom made no mistake from 12 yards to open the scoring for the Yellow and Blue lads.
And just one minute later, Brazilian striker Alex Teixeira gave Jiansung Suning the cushioning with a beautiful strike before Johnathan got the consolation for Tianjin Teda in the 81st minute.
Frank Acheampong lasted full period of action for Tiajin Teda.
Jiansung Suning climbed to 8th on the standings with six points after four games.
