A host of Ghanaian celebrities trooped to the premises of Happy98.9FM to show their support to the family of the late Isaac De-Graft Danquah, known in media circles as DJ Advicer.
The one-week celebration of the death of the radio personality was held on March 25, 2021 at the forecourt of Happy FM.
Mercury Quaye leading the association of Ghanaian DJs, expressed their sorrow at losing a committed talent like DJ Advicer. To them, the DJ who has set an enviable record at the DJ Awards will always be celebrated and immortalized in the country’s entertainment history.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of media conglomerate, EIB Network Group, Bola Ray was also present to pay his respect to the departed and commiserate with his family.
Former host of the Ayekoo After Drive show which was then produced by DJ Advicer, Afia Schwarzenegger, saddened by the ‘Supreme Selector’s’ demise, also supported the family with some bags of water and an amount of money.
Other celebrities and media personalities present at the radio presenter’s one week celebration included, Okyeame Kwame, Nana Romeo, Dzifa Sweetness, Denise Asare (Accra Mall), Afrifa Peasah- Atinka TV, Ekuoba Gyasi- Atinka FM, Mr. Shark, DJ Pako Rich (Zylofon FM), Giovanni Caleb, Andy Dosty, DJ MJ, Epixode, Bismark Brown, Amanda Gyasi, Efe Keyz and a host of others.
His former employer, Choice FM also sent a delegation which presented packs of water and an amount of money to the family.
DJ Advicer passed away on Thursday 4th March after a short illness. DJ Advicer, until his demise was the host of ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ show on Happy 98.9 FM. He is known to his peers as passionate, down to earth and full of life.
He left a legacy in the world of DJing by winning the Best Music Promoter on four occasions at the Ghana DJ Awards and will forever remain in the hearts of industry players.
