Residents of Boohu in the Ashanti Region have bemoaned the incessant rock blasting activities by a Chinese Company causing damage to their properties.
According to them, the rock blasting activities carried out by the Chinese Company have caused cracks in their buildings and disrupted the lives of the people living in the community.
The residents have expressed deep concern over the devastating destruction caused by the Chinese Company and called on authorities to address the issue as soon as possible.
They added that the blasting of rocks is a threat to their livelihood and safety.
One of the Chinese officials, apologies to the residents for causing destruction to their properties.
He promised to bare the cost of the properties that has been affected as a result of the blasting.
“We will be responsible for the compensation, make your estimate and we will settle you”.
