Breaking News: 1 Favourite and 2 other GFA presidential hopefuls disqualified

Information available to Happyghana.com indicates that three out of the seven aspirants contesting for the top seat of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will be thrown out of the race.

According to Happy FM source, The 3 disqualified from contesting for the post by the vetting Committee is based on the grounds of integrity test and irregularities with the completion of their nominations.

The source confidently reported that favourite among the 7 aspirants disqualification is not justifiable but the other 2 is considerable.

Vetting results were expected to be made public by Thursday night but was delayed due to the disqualification of some of the aspirants.

The much anticipated GFA elective congress is slated for October 25.

Persons contesting for the President position are former vice presidents George Afriyie and Fred Pappoe, Ex-Black Stars management committee chairman Wilfried Osei Palmer, Lawyer George Ankoma Mensah, Lawyer Amanda Clinton, Nana Yaw Amponsah and Kurt Okraku.
