Bright Future Sports club, founded by Clement Owusu Robertson and based in Pretoria, South Africa is opening doors for young footballers across Africa to pursue professional careers.

In an interview on Happy FM’s Happy Sports, Robertson, Who also doubles as a coach revealed that the project began two years ago under the name Right to Dream, but was later rebranded due to a name conflict with an existing Ghanaian football institution.

“It started with the name Right to Dream,” he said. “When the time came for registration and all the necessary documents, we realized that Right to Dream was already in the system, coaching in Ghana. Since we did not have any relation with them, we were forced to change the name to Bright Future.”

Despite the change, the academy’s vision has remained intact, providing opportunities for talented footballers who might otherwise go unnoticed.

“Our goal is to give these young people the opportunity to showcase their talent and advance their football careers,” Robertson emphasized.

Bright Future is not limited to Ghana. The club draws players from Liberia, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Congo, and South Africa, reflecting it’s continental ambition.

“It’s about giving young people the chance to show what God has given them so they can make a living out of it,” he added.
