Bugri Naabu defeated as Northern NPP Chairman

The Northern Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu has been defeated at the just ended Northern Regional delegates congress.
Business mogul, Mohammed A. Baantima Samba won the Chairman slot with 312 votes of a total votes cast of 492.
Legal practitioner, Sule Sambian won the Secretary position.
Alhaji Rashid COP, the immediate former Youth Organizer won the Regional Organizer position.
