One person has died and 3 others are in critical condition following a gory road accident at the Gomoa Buduatta Junction in the Gomoa East District on Winneba highway.
The accident involved a container trailer with registration number GE: 8891- 18 heading to Takoradi and tipper truck with registration number GN:2314-21 heading to Kasoa.
Information gathered reveals that, the driver of the trailer truck was sleeping. Upon reaching Buduatta GOil Fuel station the drive moved from his lane colliding with the speeding tipper truck.
Reports say, the driver of the tipper truck died on a spot while 3 others in the trailer are in critical condition.
The injured have been sent to the Kasoa polyclinic for treatment.
