The New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya West Constituency Eugene Arhin’s posters and billboards have been reportedly ripped off by some members of the NDC in some communities. The communities include Awutu Bontrase, Nyarkokwaa, Amontrom, Pobikwaa, Bawjiase and others.Multiple eyewitness accounts indicate that the people who are involved in this act have also destroyed Eugene Arhin’s campaign materials in several communities.Speaking to Happyghana.com the Ayensu Electoral Area Chairman of the NPP, Paul Agyei revealed that, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate who is also the incumbent has her posters everywhere at the expense of the NPP candidate because her supporters have been removing them. Paul Agyei is calling on those NDC supporters purported to desist and do a clean campaign. In addition, the NPP Constituency Vice Chairman, in the Awutu Senya West Constituency Samuel Kwaku Larbie, sounded a word of caution that if any NDC member is caught, the person will not be spared.Meanwhile, Communication Officer for the NDC in the Awutu Senya West Constituency, Otto Larbie has disregarded the allegations levelled against the party and stated emphatically that they have never assigned any NDC member to embark on such unscrupulous assignments.” The MP for Awutu Senya west Constituency is known to be humble, peaceful and who always love to put people together so there is no way the MP will encourage anybody to do such evil. It can clearly be seen that NPP do not have any message either than spreading fake news about the MP they can never defeat in the upcoming election, he Noted. He also stated categorically that most of the billboards that fell were as a result of torrential rainfall recently, does the NDC have power over the rain or wind? the communication Officer asked.
