Post Mortem performed on the body of the late Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong, aka KABA on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 by a pathologist at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has revealed the cause of death of the ace-presenter.
According to the Daily Post’s impeccable sources, the post mortem revealed KABA had an enlarged heart, enlarged kidney and enlarged liver – this, coupled with his diabetic cum hypertensive condition, was what led to his kicking the bucket in the early hours of last Saturday, November 18, 2017 while being rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital by his mother.
The post mortem was conducted in the presence of his relatives and personnel of the Criminal investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
The results of the post mortem has once again brought to the fore the need for persons to undergo regular medical checkup and adopt lifestyle that will not endanger their health.
A medical doctor who spoke to the Daily Post warned persons who sit down for long hours at work to be very careful because prolong sitting courts lots of heath hazards. He said it was important for a person not to sit down for more than an hour without getting up to allow good blood circulation. He urged persons whose offices are situated on top floors of story buildings to use the stairs rather than the lift.
KABA was only 37 years and got married only last year. He is survived by a wife, Valentina, also a broadcaster and a 7-month old child.
