The Supreme Court is set to hear a case on Wednesday, April 16, regarding the potential removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
The case stems from a lawsuit filed by Vincent Ekow Assafuah, MP for Old Tafo, against the Attorney-General.
Assafuah claims that President John Dramani Mahama did not follow constitutional procedures while handling petitions for the Chief Justice’s removal.
The Chief Justice has already submitted her preliminary response, with the deadline for her comments having passed on April 7.
