Aggrieved Nkoronza Chiefs have invoked curses on the Flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama for failing to engage them as part of his campaign tour of the Bono East Region.

Failure by John Mahama to meet the Chiefs as scheduled has unleashed the wrath of members of the Nkoronza Traditional council in the Bono East Region.

In a video shared by a local radio station, some of the chiefs belonging to the Nkoronza Traditional Council was heard expressing their disappointment in John Mahama for refusing to engage them.

According to them, they were expecting John Mahama to pay a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Nkoranza and his elders as outlined in his Itenary but left the Chiefs and his elders waiting .

The chiefs have described the actions of John Mahama as disrespect to the Paramount Chief and his elders.

As a result, the Chiefs have warned their indegenes not to cast their vote for the NDC both Presidential and Parliamentary elections in December 7, 2024.

“They don’t have respect for chiefs at all, they informed to meet us on 9:00am and later changed the time to 6:00pm but yet still did not showed up”, one elder lamented.
