Radio personality and host of Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra, Francis Cann, popularly known on radio Doctar Cann, has challenged churches to start throwing their weight behind musical geniuses.

According to the seasoned radio personality, most musicians have their talents identified in their various churches, and if they gain the needed support instead of the church taking advantage of them, they will grow.

“Churches should support their talents. It is great for the church to help musicians. Christ Embassy supports its musicians a lot, but some churches do not do that. Don’t be surprised if your talented musicians run away to join other churches”, he said.

He made this statement when gospel musician Nana Yaw Boakye Yiadom known as MOG revealed that his church, the Royalhouse Chapel has always supported his music.

Doctar Cann want on to commend Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah for supporting MOG and providing him with a 21,000 capacity auditorium to host his concert free of charge.

Musician MOG, born Nana Yaw Boakye Yiadom, has received four (4) nominations for the VGMA’s. The musician attributed most of his success to the support of his church and pastor, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah.
