Happy on wheels to take Corporate Taxi Rank in Circle by storm

Drivers and traders in and around the Corporate Taxi Rank at Circle in Accra are eager to host Happy98.9FM’s community engagement programme, ‘Happy On Wheels’.

Happy98.9FM’s community engagement programme, ‘Happy on Wheels’, which seeks to bring radio closer to its listeners will have a live outdoor broadcast of its programmes live from the Corporate Taxi Rank at Circle on Friday, 28th February,2020.

Happy98.9FM will run it’s programmes (all shows), ‘Anopa Bosuo Sports’, ‘Nsem Pii’, ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ and ‘Wamputu Sports’ from the Corporate Taxi Rank, Circle. It is going to be a great occasion for residents, drivers and people in and around the taxi rank to interact with their favourite Happy FM presenters and producers.

The ‘Happy On Wheels’ initiative is targeted at promoting community engagement by directly engaging loyal listeners of Happy FM in their communities.

Programmes Manager of Happy98.9FM, Mr. Emmanuel Akrumah commenting on the initiative had this to say: “This initiative is geared towards the promotion of an all-inclusive community radio idea which seeks to engage radio listeners in the production process. And also provide listeners with a real feel of what happens in the studios of the radio station. Happy98.9FM as a trailblazer is very glad to have initiated this activity and will take this campaign around the country”.

He urged all listeners to join Happy FM on the 28th of February at the Corporate Taxi Rank, Circle to interact with Happy FM presenters and producers. He furthered, “any community which wants us to hold ‘Happy On Wheels in their vicinity should relax, we will get to your community soon enough”.
