Council of State Election: Ras Mubarak gets zero vote

Former Member of Parliament for Kumbungu Constituency Ras Mubarak got zero (0) vote in the ongoing Council of State elections in the Northern Region.

The former MP wanted to represent the Northern Region on the Council of State as a youth to help address issues concerning the youth of Ghana.

After the polls, Mahamoud Tahiru Zunglana emerged winner with 23 votes while the former Stanbic boss polled eight votes to come second.

In a post on Facebook, Ras Mubarak congratulated Chief Col. Rt. Mahmoud for winning the election.
