The Fosuh and Allied Families have announced arrangements for the One-Week Observation of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, widely known as Daddy Lumba, one of Ghana’s most celebrated highlife musicians.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 30th August 2025, at 7:00AM at the Legon Sports Stadium (University of Ghana Sports Stadium) in Accra.
The announcement comes as fans and loved ones across the nation continue to mourn the passing of the iconic musician, whose music shaped Ghana’s highlife genre for decades.
The One-Week Observation is expected to draw family, friends, industry colleagues, dignitaries, and thousands of admirers of Daddy Lumba, who was affectionately called “DL” by his fans.
Further details on the funeral arrangements are expected to be communicated by the family in due course.
