Diamond Cement Group rewards customers, distributors

Diamond Cement Group has held the 2021 edition of its annual customer appreciation event as part of efforts to acknowledge its dealers, customers and distributors across the country.

Held in Accra, about 40 customers and distributors who have partnered the company to grow the cement business in the country were honoured. The event also gathered top players and key stakeholders in the cement industry.

Atala Group emerged ultimate winner of the National Awards category with Sandas Investment Limited, D.K. Korankye Company Limited, Bernet Enterprises,Asiru Dawuda, and Naneson Enterprise grabbing other national awards.15 other distributors came tops at the regional level with 22 others being rewarded for the Best Supporting Distributor and Special Category Awards.

Delivering his address, Chairman for Diamond Cement Group, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Patel, expressed the Group’s delight to host its partners whose businesses have complemented their huge investments whiles praising Ghanaians for their support.

Indeed, we could not have come this far without your support and for this we’re most grateful. Thank you for believing in our products,” he said.

He added that “For us at Diamond Cement Group, this is just the beginning of great business exploits and we make a solemn promise to continue to channelresources into the development of inventions that would deliver unmatched value to partners and customers.”

Taking his turn, Executive Secretary of the Chamber of Cement Manufacturers Association of Ghana, Dr.Dawson Amoah, re-iterated the Chamber’s commitment to the creation and sustenance of a conducive environment for cement manufacturing companies.

“The Chamber of Cement Manufacturers Association of Ghana acknowledges the role of healthy competition to the success of any business environment. Thus, the chamber will continue to fight unfair trade practices to enable firms in the industry compete fairly,” he said.

He further noted that the Chamber is working tirelesslyto implement innovative strategies such as enactment of legislation aimed at enforcing standard practices among cement manufacturing companies to protect cement production in Ghana.

On his part, Marketing Manager for Diamond Cement Group, Mr. James T. John, encouraged Ghanaians to actively contribute to the success of the Diamond Cement Group through constant feedback.

“It is always a pleasure to serve you, our dear customers and we always look forward to your feedback which plays a pivotal role in the improvement of our goods and services. Feedback is paramount to us as it is the surest way of ascertaining your needs for us to serve you better,” he said.

The Diamond Cement Group has invested in cement factories including Diamond Cement Ghana Ltd (DCGL) in Aflao, Savanna Diamond Cement Ltd (SDCL)-Buipe which has an attachment of the firstclinker factory in Ghana with the capacity to refine/upgrade limestone to produce clinker and the Western Diamond Cement Ltd (WDCL) – which hasthe latest manufacturing processes with the use of a vertical rolling mill technology that produces better quality cement.
