The Economic Fighters League has demanded the discontinuation of the case against democracy hub protesters.
According to them, the remanded protesters have had their rights violated through police assault, ‘’We demand that all these violations of the right of these people be thoroughly investigated and any police officer find culpable be held accountable’.
They have however asked the Attorney General to discontinue the cases, questioning their constitutional mandate.
‘’It is in the bosom of the Attorney General to discontinue these cases if indeed they see the threat that we all face, If indeed they promise to uphold the dignity of the Ghanaian and uphold the human right and constitutional right of all citizens’’.
