Head coach of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Mensah Logosu has admitted that his side’s failure to secure qualification back to the Ghana Premier League was devastating a one.

According to him, it was due to hard luck.

Eleven Wonders lost 7-6 on penalties to Bofoakwa Tano, after a 1-1 stalemate last Tuesday in the playoff of zone I of the national first-division championship.

Bofoakwa opened the scoring account in less than ten minutes from kickoff through Leslie Aryeetey who scored from a spot-kick but the lead was canceled just two minutes from the break thanks to a header from Eleven Wonders’ Zakaria Osman.

There was no goal produced in the game after extra time and headed to penalties which saw Bofoakwa emerge victorious.

Reacting to his team’s loss after the game on Happy FM, coach of Eleven Wonders, Logosu is positive they will bounce back next season.,” In football, it’s either you win, lose or draw. We lost due to hard luck. I don’t know if I will still be with the team next season, Management of the club will have to converge and decide on that. We will be back. That’s only if we prepare well but I’m positive we will be back”.

The Techiman side will hope to right all wrongs to bounce back stronger next season. Their last appearance in the top flight was in the 2020/21 season.
