Emerging Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat musicians, Emmanuel Fuseini and Julius Smith Fuseini together as Zee TM melody have said that making music in the north is difficult, recounting their two-year experience.

The duo said on e.TVGhana’s The Late Nite Celebrity Show that “doing music in the Northern Region is not easy because not every place has light and studios are not available. We some times have to board a vehicle for about 2 to 3 hours before you can get a studio to record a song”, Zee TM said.

“We grew up in a home where pursuing music was a requirement. You were either required to play an instrument or sing. Emmanuel danced as a kid while Julius was interested in acrobatics. It was until JHS we finally took on music as a career and have been mentored and coached by R2Bees for the past 2 years” Julius said.

Zee-TM have expressed their sincere gratitude for the opportunities they have received working with Mugeez and they hope to not only win a BET award in 2 years but take a grammy in three.
