A political marketing expert and member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gyesi Boako, has said that the third position secured by former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the party’s presidential ballot represents the Holy Trinity, a divine sign that points to victory in the upcoming primaries.

Speaking to Happy Kaseɛbɔ after the balloting exercise for the NPP’s presidential aspirants ahead of the January 31, 2026 primaries, held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra, Mr. Boako said the outcome was a cause for celebration among Bawumia’s supporters.

“We are very happy with the number three position because we believe it’s not just a number, it represents the Holy Trinity. It shows that God is with Dr. Bawumia, and it’s a sign that he will emerge victorious,” he stated.

He further noted that Dr. Bawumia’s record of service as Vice President and the message of hope he continues to preach resonate strongly with the Ghanaian youth and the delegates.

“Dr. Bawumia has served this country with humility and dedication. His campaign is filled with wisdom and messages of hope, not insults. That’s the kind of leadership the youth are looking for,” Mr. Boako emphasized.

According to him, Dr. Bawumia’s achievements and vision make him the ideal candidate to lead the NPP to victory.

Mr. Boako urged party members and delegates to rally behind Dr. Bawumia, describing him as a God-fearing leader with the competence and character to transform Ghana’s future.
