The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Running Mate in the 2024 presidential election, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has reaffirmed his dedication to fostering unity within the party as a top priority.

During the NPP’s meeting on Wednesday, April 16, he stressed the importance of internal cohesion as a critical step toward securing victory in the upcoming elections.

He expressed his immediate focus on helping to build a united front to support the party’s flagbearer.

“My immediate interest now is to get a united party for a flagbearer to be eventually crowned,” he stated.

Dr. Prempeh also addressed circulating rumours about his political future, particularly speculation about a possible presidential bid in 2028.

He firmly denied any such intentions.

His comments appear aimed at clearing any misconceptions and reinforcing his commitment to the party’s 2024 campaign efforts.
