The Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korle Constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has condemned the fatal stabbing incident that occurred at Kinbu Senior High School on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

In a press release issued on Friday August 1, Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings expressed her deep shock and sadness over the tragic loss of a young student, describing the incident as a senseless act of violence.

“I strongly condemn this act of violence and I will collaborate with the Ghana Police Service and other relevant authorities to ensure that thorough investigations are swiftly done and that justice is served,” she stated.

She emphasized the need for urgent action to reassess safety protocols within schools, adding that violence has no place in educational institutions.

She called on stakeholders in the education and security sectors to take immediate steps to prevent such tragic events from recurring.

Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings extended her condolences to the bereaved family, students, staff, and the entire Kinbu SHS community, urging collective action to enhance safety and mental health support in schools.

“As the Member of Parliament for the Klottey-Korle Constituency, I am committed to working with the Ghana Education Service, school authorities, community leaders, and security agencies to enhance safety and mental health support within schools across the constituency,” she assured.
