The Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has reaffirmed her commitment to the welfare of the elderly by hosting her annual Time with the Aged programme in the constituency as part of activities marking the Christmas season.
In a post shared on her official Facebook page, the MP said the event was aimed at honouring and appreciating elderly residents for their lifelong contributions to society.
She described caring for the aged as a continuous responsibility, noting that the Christmas season provides an additional opportunity to celebrate their lives.
“Honouring and appreciating them is a continual responsibility, as the Bible instructs, and this season simply gives us another moment to celebrate their lives and contributions,” she stated.
Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings expressed gratitude to the elderly in the constituency for their support throughout the year and extended warm Christmas wishes to all older persons in Klottey Korle and across the country.
The annual engagement has become a key feature of the MP’s community outreach, reinforcing her advocacy for social inclusion, respect for the aged, and community solidarity in the Klottey Korle Constituency.
She wished all elderly persons in Ghana a Merry Christmas as families and communities come together to celebrate the festive season.
