A 25 year old man known as Kwaku Siaw who is a washing bay attendant has allegedly killed his 18 year old partner, Adwoa at Nkawkaw Krofofrom in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The incident occurred today, Tuesday August 13 , 2024 around 1pm at their residence.

According to the parents of the suspect, Kwaku Siaw and the deceased, Adwoa were living together as a couple and even have two children.

They said, they had no idea what led to the murder of the deceased by their son.

The mother told the media that she was preparing to go to farm when someone brought the deceased younger child to her. She added that she, went to the room of the deceased to inform her about that she was going to the farm only to find her dead.

the suspect’s father also indicated that he had a call while on his farm that his son had killed his partner which made him rush to the house.

He said even though the couples normally argue nothing proves that Kwaku could murder his partner because they were living in peace and harmony.

However, other sources suggest that jealousy may have been the motive behind the murderer because Kwaku was not happy after discovering a chat between his partner and another man, suggestive of an ongoing romance.
