e.TV Ghana, your world of quality entertainment, is bringing a steady stream of exciting new shows this April.

The introduction of the new shows is part of e.TV Ghana’s bid to bring quality television content to its diverse viewers across Ghana.

The all new ‘African Women’s Voices’ is a one-hour live television program which airs every Monday at 4pm with host, Nosisa Doe, and repeats every Saturday at 12 noon.

The one-hour show is fully packed with discussions centered on women such as women empowerment, entrepreneurship, dealing with domestic violence and a segment dedicated to women’s health.

Viewers who love a thrill are not left out because at 5pm every Sunday starting from this April, e.TV Ghana adds Steve Austin’s ‘Broken Skull Challenge’ to its already impressive content. A competition where ball-busters compete in challenges such as ‘The Nut Cracker’ and ‘The Mud Bath’ to reach the final challenge, ‘The Skull Buster’.

Viewers will watch eight contestants in each episode of the head-to-head battles – with menacing names like Trench Warfare and Pulverizer – until just one man or woman remains. That person gets to take on the Austin-designed Skull buster, a half-mile stretch of 10 obstructions designed to stop even hard-core athletes. Completing that leg -which is far from certain – earns the winner $10,000.

The sitcom lovers who like a good laugh are not left out. Two exciting new sitcoms’ Instant Mom’ and ‘The Carmichael Show’ will give you rib cracking comedy in the comfort of your home this April.
‘Instant Mom’ which shows every Sunday at 12noon, will take viewers on a journey of discovery with Stephanie. Played by Tia Mowry, Stephanie is a former party girl who became an instant step mom to three children when she married their father Charlie.

The other 30-minutes sitcom, ‘The Carmichael’ show, airs every Sunday at 7pm. Jerrod and his therapist-in-training girlfriend, Maxine, are intelligent, ambitious and ready to take the next step to building a fulfilling life by moving in together. The one thing holding them back is Jerrod’s loveable but spirited family. At home, he has a brother, Bobby, who has a big personality which he uses in his endless string of hustles. His obstinate father, Joe, and his Jesus-praising mother, Cynthia. Together, the three of them test Jerrod and Maxine as they learn about romance, family and trying to stay sane.

Meanwhile there are two new local drama series, ‘Chimera’ and ‘Facebuk’, showing on Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday 3:30pm respectively.

e.TV Ghana also has ‘eSports Live’ for sports enthusiasts. This is an hour sports show giving a preview into matches taking place during the weekend. It shows every Friday at 6pm.

There is also a new telenovela called ‘Caribbean Flower’ which shows every Saturday at 5pm

Finally, Ernest Odame at the helm of affairs on the ‘Table of Men’ will lead discussions on issues pertaining to men. The ‘Table of Men’ show will air on Thurdays at 9pm starting the last week of April 2019.

Speaking about the new shows on e.TV Ghana, Nosisa Doe, Programs Manager at e.TV Ghana said ‘’different audiences have different entertainment needs and for e.TV Ghana to live up to our mantra of quality entertainment, we target our programming to meet the needs of different audience segments both on television and online.’’
