The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the nationwide voters’ exhibition exercise will take place from August 20 to August 27.

Speaking at a press briefing in Accra on Monday, August 19, 2024, EC’s Deputy Chairman in charge of Corporate Services, Dr. Bossman Asare highlighted that registered voters can use the exercise to request the inclusion of omitted names, raise objections to names in the register, remove the names of deceased voters, replace poor-quality or damaged voter ID cards, correct misspelled names, and amend other registration details such as age and sex.

He urged all registered voters, particularly those who participated in the 2024 limited registration exercise at district offices and selected electoral areas, as well as during the mop-up exercise, to visit the exhibition centers.

Dr. Bossman Asare explained that the exercise is designed to help voters locate their respective polling stations.

He emphasized that this will make it easier for individuals to find their centers and cast their ballots on December 7, reducing stress on election day.

According to him this is essential to ensure they have been assigned to the correct polling stations, which is critical for the smooth conduct of the elections.
