The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that electricity bills for April 2025 are now available and are being distributed nationwide.
In a statement released on Sunday, May 18, 2025, ECG explained that the delay was due to a system modification aimed at improving the clarity of the billing format. The company assured customers that the updated format would make their bills easier to understand.
Customers can access their April bills through the ECG Power App or by dialling *226#, the statement noted. ECG apologized for the delay and pledged to ensure timely bill distribution in the future.
The company also encouraged customers to use its digital platforms for convenient access to their bills and to report any concerns for prompt resolution.
