Eight female ministers appointed under Prez Nana Addo’s new gov’t

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed eight women among his forty-six (46) Ministers and Regional Ministers whom he will be working with over the next four years as he serves his second term as president.

These eight female appointees include six Ministers and two Regional Ministers. The Ministers under the Central Government are:

1.  Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey- Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration
2.  Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful- Communications and Digitalisation.
3.  Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson- Fisheries and Aquaculture Development.
4.  Cecelia Abena Dapaah- Sanitation and Water Resources.
5.  Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo- Gender, Children and Social Protection.
6.  Hon. Freda Prempeh- Works and Housing (Minister of State).

Under the Regional Government, the President appointed Justina Owusu-Banahene as Regional Minister for the Bono Region and Justina Marigold Assan as Regional Minister for the Central Region.
