Former President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated that, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is the only political party that can rescue citizens from the economic hardship they are experiencing today.

Speaking to NDC delegates at Atebubu/Amantin municipality in the Brong Ahafo Region, the Former President said Ghanaians are yearning for the return of NDC hence the need for them to give him a massive endorsement on December 7, 2018 so he will lead the umbrella family to victory in 2020.

‘’Before victory 2020, you [delegates] should look out for someone with the requite skills, someone who can provide competent leadership, someone with the track record to deliver and someone with the experience to provide citizens with better leadership. You need to look out for a unifier and a leader who can be trusted,’’ Mahama said.

‘’The NDC has done it before and we can do it again. When we were in power, there was economic stability and transformation. We provided an environment for Ghanaians to enjoy the progress we provided. Ghanaians wanted to bring in a change to see if it would be better but they have now realised it is only the NDC that is able to bring stability when in power,’’ He added.

Mahama is on a five-day tour in the Brong Ahafo Region, to solicit for vote in his bid to lead the NDC into the 2020 general election.
