The Ekumfi Princess, known personally as Mercy Buabeng, has been the host of Girl Vibes since its inception in 2020 and within this short while, she has already bagged two awards.

Her first award was the Best Tertiary TV Show award which she won at the Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) Tertiary Awards 2020 when the show was only two seasons old, and now in the third season of the show, she has been recognized as Best TV Personality.

This is a feat that she does not take lightly because she put in lots of hard work both on-air and behind the scenes and together with equal effort and support from her team, we can boldly say that this award is well-deserved.

Mercy Bee, upon receiving her award, gave an appreciation speech saying, “God has done it again! This was Girl Vibes’ second nomination and we bagged it too! Biggest appreciation goes to God first of all, the Girl Vibes crew and the whole GMABC team, to my family, fans and everyone who voted for me. Thank you all for the love and support, the votes, constructive criticism and everything that has pushed me to this point. This win is for us all”.

Also speaking on this was Programmes Manager of eTV Ghana, Mrs. Nosisa Doe. She said, “Mercy Bee is a very determined and hardworking young lady and honestly, I would’ve been in great shock if she had not won this award. She put in so much for this and I am glad that it did not go in vain. Congratulations, Mercy Bee, the Ekumfi Princess. eTV Ghana is proud to have you”
