The Director of Research and Elections for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Evans Nimako, has urged the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take steps to address the actions of some of its supporters to ensure a smooth electoral process.

Expressing concern over certain disruptions in some constituencies, Mr. Nimako highlighted how the actions of these individuals were affecting the collation process at some centers. He noted that such disruptions were causing delays in the inflow of final results, which could undermine the integrity of the process.

In an exclusive interview with Happy Kasiɛbɔ, he mentioned constituencies like Fanteakwa North, Suhum, and Akwatia as areas of concern. He said while the NPP had won those constituencies but the NDC was also claiming to have won, heightening tensions.

Mr. Nimako called on all stakeholders to prioritize peace, law, and order, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the principles of democracy to maintain stability during this critical period.
