The Minister of Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza has shared the government’s firm stance on embarking on projects which are strictly under the government’s Big Push development initiative.
Speaking at the sixth edition of the Government Accountability Series on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the minister presented a number of road projects that are soon to commence across the nation to foster development and improve transportation of goods and services.
He indicated that despite a huge number of delayed road projects which were inherited from the previous government, the present government under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama will focus strictly on road projects placed under the Big Push road project budget. “We will only go ahead with road projects that have been programmed and budgeted for under the Big Push initiative”, Mr. Agbodza shared during his presentation.
