In an interesting twist of events, Happy Sports can confirm that the Chief Accountant of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) ,Owusu Ajyei Laybi, held a crucial meeting with Black Queens players this evening, delivering long-awaited news regarding their bonuses.

A source close to the team revealed to Happy Sports that, during the meeting, the Chief Accountant assured the players that their per diem for the current camp is ready and will be promptly disbursed following their training session held today, Wednesday February 21.

The Chief Accountant also addressed the pressing issue of players’ bonus arrears. He provided a concrete timeline, promising that the outstanding bonuses would be paid by 1 pm tomorrow, Thursday, February 21st.

The news of the imminent payment of bonuses has lifted the spirits of the players as they prepare for their upcoming match against Zambia.

With their financial concerns addressed, the Black Queens can now focus solely on their performance on the field, determined to continue their impressive run and secure victory for Ghana as they aim for the Olympic Games qualification.

The game is expected to be hosted at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, February 23 with kick-off scheduled at 16:00 GMT.
