Head of Rising Star Africa Promotions, Paul Dogboe has disclosed that his protege Isaac Dogboe has signed a one-year deal with Top Rank Boxing Promotion, Happyghana.com can exclusively can confirm.

Isaac Dogboe became Ghana’s youngest ever boxing champion after knocking out Jessie Magdaleno in Philadelphia on Sunday morning, making him the new WBO super bantamweight/junior featherweight titleholder.
In a fight that sashayed, both boxers were unafraid of giving punches. The Ghanaian won by TKO in eleven rounds.
The 23-year-old did it remarkably, considering he was knocked down in the first round after walking into a well-timed left hook. But he recovered well, and his heart, honed from 11 straight victories, shone through.
Despite all the pre-bout hype which seemed to suggest that this would be an emotional fight for the Mexican, it was Dogboe who was in control for large portions.
Speaking to Ohene Bampoe Brenya on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Paul Dobgoe revealed that newly crowned WBO Super batamweight/junior featherweight champion has sealed a one year deal with Top Rank Promotion – a firm that is headed by renowned boxing promoter Bob Arum.
“It’s very true because they knew for some reason that Isaac was going to be a champion, so they gave us three three options for twelve months,” Paul Dogboe disclosed on Happy FM.
“We just signed a one year which will be co-promotion, after then we’ll negotiate so the king is very happy and he has embraced and it can get better.”
“I will say the king is really happy.”
Dogboe is expected to enjoy A-class bouts under his new promoters.
