Residents of Dabaa-Kokoben in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region are living in constant fear due to the presence of land guards in the area.. The locals have expressed distress, stating that they feel like they’re living in a state of terrorism as these macho men harass them, attempt to seize their farm lands, and have even erected barriers on certain parts of the land.

The situation has become so dire that residents are too afraid to tend to their farms, as the land guards have destroyed crops and farm equipment, putting their lives and livelihoods in danger.

The residents have accused Adumhene (Baffour Agyei Kesse IV), Kokoben Dikro (Nana Apau), and Adum Sompahene of hiring these land guards to take over their lands.

In desperation, they are appealing to the Asante Kingdom’s overlord, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, and the government to intervene immediately and protect their lives and property from these threats.
