Asante Kotoko skipper Felix Annan has revealed what he told his teammates before their game against Kano Pillars.
According to Felix, he told his teammates the fans are going to come to the stadium in their numbers and they should not dissapoint them on day. He also described the club fans as the best in the world.
“I always say, Asante Kotoko fans are the best in the world, I granted an interview after our trip to Nigeria and said, Asante Kotoko is not just a club, but a family.
“I told the guys the fans were really going to come so we can’t disappoint all the thousands in the stadium and the millions around the globe”
When asked how he motivate the new players who joined the club during the transfer window, Felix answered.
“It’s simple to be motivated when playing for Asante Kotoko. Because players come and go and coaches come and go so if you are fortunate to be here, then you should give your all”

Asante Kotoko defeated Kano Pillars by 2-0 to set up a date against Etoile Du Sahel in the round 32 of the CAF Champions League.
