Fire ravages 8 shops at Tema Community one market

Fire ravages 8 shops at Tema Community one market

The Tema community 1 market has been engulf by fire, leaving 8 shops destroyed.

According to reports, the fire begun in the early hours of today, April 3, 2025 but firefighters from the Tema Regional fire service responded quickly to the scene to put it under control.

Ghana police service and personnel from the electricity company of Ghana supported the fire service personnel to isolate electricity cables and maintain security.

The fire service personnel faced a lot of challenges while putting the fire under control with heavy smoke.

Over 100 shops were saved during the fire. Authorities have begun investigations into the incident to prevent similar outbreaks.
