The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in collaboration with the United Nations Office in Ghana is commemorating the 79th anniversary of the United Nations at the Forecourt of the State House.
The commemoration highlights the need for countries to forge bonds of peace and cooperation through the use of diplomacy and dialogue to resolve conflicts, as well as amplify the message for the need to pursue sustainable development.
The celebration would be marked with a hoisted flag and a photo exhibition at the forecourt of the State House.
The anniversary is on the theme, “Working Together Towards Peace and Sustainable Development in Ghana. for Present and Future Generations.
