Newly elected president of the the Ghana Athletics , Bawa Fuseini has attributed his victory to consistent hard work in the Association.
In an interview with Ohene Brenya on happy sports he said,” I have worked with the GA as the CEO and Secretary and i’m regarded as very competent leader, which is why I was elected”.
”Looking at all the four Vice Presidents each of them has something unique to bring on board.i’m looking forward to working with them and improving the sport in Ghana”.
Fuseini was elected during the Elective Congress in Techiman on Thursday, August 10.
All the 50 delegates at congress voted for Fuseini to be at the wheels of affairs of Ghana Athletics from now till 2027.
He expressed his hope that the association will continue to chalk more success under his administration with the 2023 World Athletics Championship in Budapest as the starting point.
