The Ghana Education Service (GES) has congratulated basic school teachers and learners across the country following the successful completion of the first term of the 2025/2026 academic year.
In a statement released , GES praised teachers and learners for their resilience, dedication, and perseverance throughout the term, describing the period as one marked by hard work and commitment despite challenges.
The Service expressed deep appreciation to teachers nationwide for their continued sacrifices and devotion to duty, noting that their efforts remain critical to shaping the future of the country.
“Your sacrifices continue to shape the future of our nation,” the statement said, commending teachers for their invaluable contribution to national development.
GES also lauded the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) for ensuring the prompt payment of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Data Allowances to teachers, noting that the payments were made even ahead of the promised deadline of the 18th.
The Ghana Education Service extended advance Christmas and New Year wishes to teachers, learners, parents, and all education stakeholders, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
