Aspirant for Western Regional Football Association chairman, Bismark Mark Owusu says his main focus is to market and motivate the teams and players in the region when voted into power.
He identified marketing and motivation as one of the major problems hindering the growth of football in the region.
“One of our greatest problems in the region is marketing and motivation. I have been able to brand my club Beach Paradise Sporting Club very well whereby we feed our supporters and the world with all the information they needs
“I will create a website and social media handles for the region where people will get all the information they need about the region’s football teams and players that will create the necessary awareness, he told Ohene Bampoh Brenya on Anopa Bosuo Sports on Happy FM.
The 31-year old said, he had to quit football due to injuries at any early age and is now focused on helping football be developed at the colt’s level in the region by branding the teams and players in the region to attract sponsorship.
“I am a former player and I played with the likes of Samuel Inkoom. I played my professional career in Sweden but I had to retire early due to some serious injuries. I am 31 years and as a former footballer, I have sacrificed a lot and I believe i have incurred a lot of knowledge since I became an administrator”
“I love football so the growth of the game is my outermost priority so I will improve colts football because a lot of talents where discover from there”, he added.
Mark was concerned over the number of delegates to vote in the elections which is still unknown to them.
“As we speak no candidate knows how many delegates will be voting. We have asked for the numbers but they asked us to write to the GFA because they in the right position to tell us”
